For our Field Services team we are looking for a  Data Acquisition Operator  who is responsible for collecting, processing and analyzing data during our various projects.

 

Function

In this diverse role, you and another colleague are the specialists in the field of data acquisition equipment. You are responsible for the preparation, calibration and operation of the measuring equipment and keep a close eye on the quality and accuracy of the collected data. From advanced sensors to configurations, you know how to capture the right data and process it into detailed reports that can be used for further analyses. You support our field crew and work together with our E&I technicians and the Projects & Engineering department to develop and prepare new equipment and projects.

 

Key Responsibilities as a Data Acquisition Operator:

  • Operate and calibrate data acquisition equipment and perform data collection during well testing.
  • Ensure reliable, accurate data processing and control of measuring instruments to ensure quality.
  • Perform basic analysis to identify trends and anomalies in the collected data.
  • Preparing reports to interpret the well test results.
  • Compliance with safety guidelines and support of the field crew in various activities.
  • Assisting in the preparation and design of new equipment and projects in collaboration with E&I technicians and the Projects & Engineering department;

 

Your profile

  • You have completed a technical education, for example in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Instrumentation or a similar field.
  • Relevant work experience in data collection, calibration and operation of measuring equipment, preferably in an industrial or oil and gas sector is an advantage.
