Our colleagues speaking: Roy

Roy

Coordinator Maintenance & Inspection

“My name is Roy and I work as an Inspection & Maintenance Coordinator at Bakker Oilfield Supply.

From a young age I dreamed of becoming a baker, but eventually I ended up in the world of technical maintenance work. I started my career as a maintenance mechanic, first in the workshop and later on site. Then I moved up to the position of pressure control coordinator.

Currently I am proud to fill the role of Inspection & Maintenance Coordinator, where I am responsible for work preparation, workshop planning and certificate management, both for BOS and for our customers.

My day starts nice and early, around 6:45 a.m., with a cup of coffee and processing certificates to make sure everything is up to date. What makes my job special is the diversity; no day is the same. Whether it’s preparing a maintenance job or preparing certificates, I’m involved in the whole process.

What I really appreciate is working with a great team. Together with my colleagues, we strive to make every aspect of the maintenance process a success.

I get energy from scheduling maintenance, leading work meetings and being the point of contact for my colleagues. Whether it’s work-related topics or just good conversation, it’s fun to be part of our enthusiastic team with a shared passion for what we do.”
