Workshop
Maintenance and inspection activities are carried out on-site and in our workshop. The workshop is fully equipped according to the latest guidelines, complying with all legal obligations regarding quality, safety, and environment. Special attention has been given to implementing environmentally friendly and energy-efficient solutions in the workshop setup. Natural skylights have been installed for optimal use of daylight, the underfloor heating is powered by geothermal energy, and we utilize solar collectors. Additionally, the workshop is fully organized according to the ‘Lean’ methodology, aligning perfectly with our efficient approach.
Maintenance procedures
Inspection process
We provide thorough major inspections to ensure your equipment remains safe and fully operational. These inspections involve detailed checks to evaluate the condition of your assets and address any potential issues.
Our major inspection process includes:
- Complete disassembly of the equipment.
- Internal inspection for wear and damage.
- Replacement of seals and O-rings.
- Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) of welds, threads, and integrals.
- Wall thickness measurement at critical stress points
- Hardness testing.
We typically recommend these inspections every five years, but for equipment with irregular maintenance, we advise scheduling them sooner to ensure reliability.
Our workshop is equipped with specialized tools to accurately measure wall thickness at predefined stress points, ensuring your equipment meets safety and performance standards.
Pressure testing
Our workshop features three indoor test bunkers for hydrostatic testing of high-pressure equipment, with a special bunker for larger equipment like tanks and separators.
We ensure that high-pressure equipment remains safe and reliable by conducting rigorous pressure tests in our specialized facility. To verify that the equipment can handle its specified working pressure, we test it up to 22.000 psi, depending on the equipment type.
Upon successful testing, with no signs of leakage, the equipment receives its certification and proceeds to the final stages of the maintenance process.
Data inscription & equipment preservation
We offer an additional service of providing identification tags or inscriptions that display the test date and/or the due date for the next recommended inspection. Upon request, we can also inscribe the equipment’s serial number.
Once your equipment successfully completes our testing procedures, including any necessary repairs, we proceed with the final stage of maintenance: preserving the couplings and threads. This involves applying grease to protect against corrosion and to ensure smoother assembly during rig-up operations.
Additionally, we can enhance your equipment’s appearance by applying a new coating in your company’s colors, adhering to your specific guidelines. This ensures that your equipment not only functions optimally but also looks professional and ready for future projects.
